Kathleen Wallace
Professor
Dr. Wallace is Professor of Philosophy at Hofstra University. Dr. Wallace’s research interests include metaphysics and personal identity, responsibility in collective contexts, and sustainability and climate ethics.
Her recent publications include, The Network Self: Relation, Process, and Personal Identity, A Kantian Perspective on Individual Responsibility for Sustainability, and Personal Identity and Responsibility.
In addition to teaching and writing about philosophy, she likes hiking, bicycling, opera, and traveling.

Ira Singer
Professor
Dr. Singer is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Hofstra University. His philosophical interests include the foundations of ethics, 17th and 18th century European philosophy, and the topics of free will and personal identity.
In addition to teaching in the Philosophy department, Dr. Singer frequently participates in teaching the Culture and Expression course in Honors College.
Among his interests outside of philosophy are striving to improve at chess (or, improvement aside, to continue enjoying it), and taking frequent walks in Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
